6.9 magnitude earthquake jolts Phillipines, Kills 60 people and dozens injured
Powerful earthquake shook Phillipines, it killed 60 people and left many injured.The magnitude 6.9 earthquake struck off the coast of Cebu City on Tuesday.The epicenter of the earthquake was 17 kilometres northeast of the city of Bogo in the Province of Cebu. The earthquake destroyed a stone church and also disrupted power supply in several areas. The death toll is expected to rise as rescue operations continue.
