Zubeen Garg was killed by one, while others cooperated: CM

The Winter Session of the Assam Legislative Assembly began on Tuesday. Earlier in the day, the assembly was in turmoil over the murder of Zubeen Garg. The Opposition is seen making speeches demanding justice for the death of Zubeen Garg. Following this, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma made a special statement on the murder of Zubeen Garg. 

Responding to the Opposition's question on the death of Zubeen Garg, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, "The death of Assamese soul artist Zubeen Garg is not an ordinary incident, it is a case of murder. It's a murder. One was killing and others were cooperating. There are four to five people involved in the murder. We are not here to make fun of Zubeen, we are not here to do politics."

He also said that the SIT will file a chargesheet in the murder of Zubeen Garg on December 8. After that, action will be taken against those who used Zubeen during his lifetime. No one can escape who has wronged Zubeen. It is to be noted that the opposition had demanded that Zubeen Garg be given the Bharat Ratna. In this regard, the Chief Minister said that the proposal to confer Bharat Ratna on Zubeen Garg will be sent with courtesy. As was given to Bhupen Hazarika.
