Evergreen actor Dharmendra, one of the strongest and most popular stars of Hindi cinema, has passed away at the age of 89 due to age-related complications. The actor breathed his last in Mumbai after undergoing treatment at home for the past few days.
Dharmendra Kewal Krishan Deol was born in 1935 in Punjab. Dharmendra was known as the 'He-man' of Bollywood. The veteran actor has acted in more than 300 films. He was undergoing treatment at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai a few days ago. Dharmendra was awarded the Padma Bhushan, the third highest civilian award. He made his debut in 1960 with 'Dil Bhi Tera, Hum Bhi Tere'. The popular actor was also elected to the lower house of the country. The artist breathed his last at his residence today.
