Today is the 53rd birthday of our hearththrob Zubeen Garg, special programmes will be held across the state

Today is the 53rd birthday of Zubeen Garg without him. Preparations were made to celebrate the birthday of the beloved artist with remembrances and tributes in every part of the state. The bust will be installed on the premises of Kahilipara's residence on the birthday. The statue will be unveiled by his father and wife Garima Saikia Garg on the occasion of the artist's birthday. In the memory of Zubeen Garg, the state BJP has launched a programme titled 'Jeevan Surabhi' at 53 places. Blood donation camps have been organised in memory of the artist at 53 places in the state today. 

BJP state president and MP Dilip Saikia and Health Minister Ashok Singhal inaugurated the camp at Khanapara field at 9 am today. Chief minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma donated blood at the camp held at Khanapara ground at around 4 pm.
